I’m pleased to make a donation to the Twang Foundation in memory of my dear mum and dad, Olive and Roy Manning. They always said, “You can’t stay sad when making music” and believed every child deserves a chance to try things in a supportive environment.

I have owned these lovely instuments for 20 years and they are in fantastic condition. I decided to donate them to the Twang Music Foundation so that young people can further their musical education and enjoy using them.

‘Learning music gives a person something precious for their whole lives and it’s great that the Foundation helps young people, whatever their backgrounds are, to discover that precious thing. That’s why I support your brilliant work.
Thank you.

Alison O'Melia
Kelsey was very excited to receive a Roland Electronic keyboard generously donated by George E Harris, who is delighted it will be used to further Kelsey's musical education.
It formerly belonged to Alison O'Melia who sadly passed away in 2020. Alison was a highly trained musician, teacher and music therapist who studied at Derby and Angela Ruskin Universities. She went on to become the Head of Music Therapy MA at Derby University and a music therapy practitioner, working within autism and then people with brain injuries.

Kelsey sings in the choir at Alexander Junior School and has lessons with us here at Twang.
It is very kind of you to donate this keyboard to Kelsey, we know she is enjoying using it very much.

Peter Whitton
Peter Whitton, the brother of Jan and brother-in-law of Stephen Williams, was originally born in North London in 1955, though from 1958 he spent most of his life living in and around the South London area.
From a young age, Peter developed a deep love for music, alongside a passion for cars and motorbikes.
His musical tastes and talents were wide-ranging - shaped in part by his father's love for country music - but it was the legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan who truly inspired him.
This admiration led to Peter amassing an impressive collection of over 30 guitars, a reflection of both his dedication to music and his appreciation for quality musical instruments.
In honour of Peter’s legacy and in accordance with his wishes, his family is proud to donate a significant portion of his cherished musical instruments and equipment to the Twang Music Foundatiion.
It brings them great comfort to know that his collection will now inspire and support aspiring young musicians and we thank them sincerely for their kind donation of guitars, amplifiers and accessories.
