The Sonnets enchanted us all when they played their the first set of the evening of indie pop covers which included songs by Radiohead and Jeff Buckley amongst others.

Undici who's band members all study music at the Brit School played a number of original songs and blew us away with their covers of "Beat it" by Michael Jackson which had a note for note perfect rendition of that amazing guitar solo and "Parklife" by Blur which had everyone in the audience singing along.

Marigold played a hugely energetic set of mostly original and some cover songs leaving the very engaged audience wanting for more.

The final act of the evening was Alpaca Attack who are a highly entertaining band formed from parents of Alexandra Junior School in Penge. They always play a lively set of popular cover songs from the 1960's to modern day tunes.
Pengemas 7/12/24
'Pengemas' @ The Goldsmith's Arms was a huge success with the Alpacas entertaining the crowd with their signature disco/rocky/ pop covers guaranteed to get you moving and on the dancefloor! The crowd loved being entertained and the following footage shows what a night of festive fun it was. There was also some fantastic food stalls and arts & crafts on display as everything was moved indoors due to a severe weather warning. All in all, it was a huge success with funds in excess of £500.00 raised on the night.

'Penge Life'
'Where's Rei' kicked off the night with their fantastic live jazz collective. They were great at providing a 'fat sounding' live sound and expert playing skills which are clearly demonstrated below. Bringing the band to Penge they provided a full-on show which really got the party started. Young, hip and eager to perform, they really rose to the occasion!
