About Us
In 2004 Twang Guitars started trading as a musical instrument shop. In 2010 we formed Twang Music Academy, a music school which now has 16 teachers and conducts over 200 lessons per week both in person and online.
Now in 2023, we have formed a charitable foundation which aims to make music tuition accessible to economically disadvantaged children in schools in the Borough of Bromley.
At Twang Music Foundation...
Our objective is to:

Provide high quality music workshops, one-to-one music tuition, clubs and summer school classes to economically disadvantaged children up to the age of 18.​

Provide musical instruments to schools, so students can make the most of their musical education with us.

Fundraise by hosting or supporting events, encouraging instrument donations and selling merchandise.
Our appeal for musical instrument donations
Do you have a musical instrument or equipment that you no longer use? Please consider donating them to Twang Music Foundation.

Your donated instrument will inspire a child to start their musical journey and give them the opportunity to practice and become proficient on their chosen instrument.
We are currently providing Alexandra Junior School in Penge with musical
equipment and tuition in support of their music department.

Equipment Restoration
We can restore and repair most musical equipment.
We have the capability of fixing up and renovating a variety of instruments and equipment, which might otherwise be considered a write-off.
